This is my 5th year working with "Tutorías", former PIU. My colleague and I have 6 hours each, total 12. At the beginning I didn´t feel confident because it was new.We didin´t know if we were doing what we had to or what we were expected to. But we managed. We have worked really hard... and we keep on... I work with extraordinary people. How we work? In small groups, no more than 6 or seven students. We reinforce what they did in class, we prepare them for oral and written tests and sometimes it is necessary to teach them how to use a book and how to find the information in it. Believe or not!! We also help them prepare exams. Students demand a lot of attention, all of them learn in a different pace. They feel much more confident , they know they belong to a small family, the tutorías family.At the end of the year we, Tutorías teachers, can see the good results.
